From September 4–8, we introduced ORI Mix at IFA Next in Hall 25, where visitors had the chance to see our cocktail automation system up close, explore how it works, and experience what happens when technology meets the art of mixology.

A New Kind of Cocktail Experience

Making a great cocktail traditionally means having the right bottles, the right ingredients, the right measurements — and enough time to put everything together.

ORI Mix takes a different approach.

The system connects to your selected spirits and liqueurs and works with ORI's flavor pod system to create a flexible cocktail menu. Its connected app keeps track of what you have available and helps turn those ingredients into cocktails you can actually make.

At IFA, that idea moved from a product page into a real-world experience.

Visitors could see ORI Mix dispensing ingredients, explore its interface, and watch the machine bring a cocktail recipe to life.

From the Booth to the Bar

One of the best parts of exhibiting at IFA wasn't simply showing the machine.

It was seeing people's reactions.

Throughout the show, visitors stopped by the ORI Future booth to ask questions, explore the system, watch demonstrations, and discover how cocktail automation could fit into their own homes, gatherings, or hospitality businesses.

Some came for the technology.

Some came for the cocktails.

And some simply wanted to see what happens when a cocktail machine starts moving like a bartender.

That's exactly the kind of curiosity we wanted to create.

Technology should not take away from the experience. It should make more of the experience possible.

Designed to Mix, Not Just Dispense

ORI Mix isn't simply about automatically pouring ingredients.

The system is designed around the actual process of making a cocktail.

Depending on the recipe, ORI Mix can use different mixing actions — including Build, Stir, Shake, and Hard Shake — while controlling ingredient dosing and other parts of the mixing process.

That means the goal isn't just automation.

It's repeatability.

It's flexibility.

And most importantly, it's making more cocktails accessible without requiring everyone to become a bartender first.

Know What You Have. Mix What You Can.

One of the ideas we showcased at IFA was the way ORI Mix connects your physical ingredients with a digital cocktail menu.

Your available spirits, liqueurs, sour ingredients, and flavor pods become part of the system's cocktail library. ORI AI can then recommend drinks based on what's available and help create a more personalized cocktail experience.

Instead of asking:

“What cocktail can I make?”

The experience becomes:

“What can I make with what I already have?”

And sometimes, that's where the fun starts.

More Than a Product Launch

IFA was also an opportunity for us to connect with people across the hospitality, technology, and consumer product industries.

ORI Future is building a global partner network around ORI Mix, working with distributors, hospitality suppliers, and business partners interested in bringing automated cocktail experiences to new markets.

For us, IFA wasn't just about putting a new product on display.

It was about starting conversations.

About understanding how people think about cocktails.

About listening to what bartenders, hosts, technology enthusiasts, and industry professionals want from the next generation of cocktail experiences.

And about showing what we're building next.
